Welcome to the NC86 page! I have been a member for 2 years and it has really been a great experience. NC86 was started to help make flying truly cost effective for regular people, and has succeeded at that goal for years. When you buy a membership share, you're no longer renting, you own a share in each aircraft. We currently have 2 "N" model 172's, both VFR and IFR certified, with 20 members. Both aircraft are well maintained, as well as both having been recently reupholstered. Aircraft scheduling is done online, and one is typically available when you need it. Weekend trips are not a problem. Working on that instrument rating? Members are usually available to safety pilot. A club instructor is available for ratings and BFRs. Our aircraft regularly fly to and camp at sun n fun and Oshkosh. I have literally saved thousands of dollars and have had a great time while doing it. Whether you're looking for a cost effective way of flying or building hours and ratings for that future career, NC86 is here for you. There are a few memberships currently available, contact us or come check us out at 14A. (Memberships may be posted online or at local FBO's.)
