Description

The Northern Virginia Flying Club was formed to promote the general aviation experience. The club currently operates a 1976 Cessna 182P and is looking to develop enough membership interest to acquire an additional plane in the future. Do not hesitate to call if you want to know more. We want to hear from all who are interested so we may determine when we can acquire a second aircraft.

Seemed like a great club, but they are not currently accepting new members.

The club is alive and well after almost 2 years. We have grow to 19 members and although that sounds like allot for one airplane, availbility remains good We are pushing to increase to 23 to 25 members so we can bring on a 172 next spring. Unfortunately pilots want an airplane before they join but we cant bring on second airplane till we have enough pilots to support it without taking time away from the 182
Costs are under control because every member thinks about costs and how to keep them low. Bfor example. Our three ATP instructors are more concerned about safety than making money so they do all checkout biennials and ipc for free to members

The NOVA Flying Club is in it's infancy. We have so far identified one aircraft, a Cessna 182P. This is a great airplane for taking the family to see Grandma and Grandpa or working on your commercial license. We are also planning to bring on board a Cessna 172 for those just looking to hop around the Mid-Atlantic or pursue private pilot and instrument ratings. Give us a call or send us an email for more information.
