The Central Texas Rotorcraft Club is a Austin-area chapter of the Popular Rotorcraft Association (PRA) dedicated to the safe enjoyment of personal rotorcraft of all kinds (gyroplanes and helicopters, primarily.) We work to promote best practices for owning and operating these amazing machines, and to foster camaraderie and safety from the members, as well as to promote the sport in the central Texas area.

The Popular Rotorcraft Association (PRA) was established in 1962 by Dr. Igor Bensen, the genius behind the first consumer gyroplane kit. The PRA organizes fly-ins, facilitates regional groups such as ours, and publishes a really nice monthly rotorcraft magazine. Find out more by visiting their website at
