Des Moines Flying Club was founded Spring of 2006. Our Mission: Affordable Flying with Clean, Well-Maintained Aircraft! Affordable - Compare our rates to renting from a local FBO and you'll see why our members choose to fly with us. Quality Aircraft - Our fleet is the highest quality for the type. Each plane has the best in radio and nav equipment. Great Instructors - Our Instructors can take you from Private Pilot to Instrument, all the way to ATP. Some of our instructors are GOLD SEAL. Fun - We want our members to enjoy flying. We have club events regularly and enthusiastically welcome any new members. Available - Our aircraft are hangared at the Des Moines airport with 24/7 access, and scheduling via the Internet.
