Club Facilities

Description

Solar Flying Club's goal is to provide low cost recreational flying for those pilots who hold, at a minimum, a private pilot's license. Solar Flying Club additionally strives to provide an affordable opportunity for those pilots seeking to add additional ratings such as commercial and instrument. Solar Flying Club has embarked on an ambitious goal to completely refurbish our 1976 Skyhawk with the latest in navigation equipment, new paint, interior and to add autopilot in the near future. Solar Flying Club uses AircraftClubs online for aircraft scheduling. For secondary training, a day trip to the local Nationwide race or for the occasional family weekend cross country vacation, Solar Flying Club aims to provide a convenient and economical alternative to the, often less than ideal, rental aircraft choices.
