Club Facilities

Why I'm interested in starting a club:
To be an aeronautical apostle. I am an Instrument Instructor and an Aircraft owner of a 1969 Cessna 172. I have been flying since 1983 and have a strong mechanical background. I am knowledgeable about aircraft and have been dreaming of starting a flying club since I joined a club in Hayward in 1995. I currently reside in Southern California and would like to start a flying club at the Santa Monica, CA airport.

    Description of the hangar/clubhouse facilities:
One Cessna 172 is tied down outside and another Cessna 172 is in a hanger with a couch and several chairs with pedestrian gate access.

Progress made towards starting the club:
I currently have 7 pilots and 4 student pilots who are interested in starting a flying club together. We have two Cessna Skyhawks with instrument capability. One is a 1969 Model and the other is a 1971 Model.
