Club Facilities

Description

The Syracuse Flying Club has been in operation for nearly 50 years. We presently own three aircraft, a 1966 Piper Cherokee used for primary training and local flights, a 1977 Piper Archer II used for instrument training, local and cross-country flights, and a 1984 Socata Trinidad TB-20. Both the Archer and Trinidad are IFR equipped and certified. We have approximately 40 members, and are always open to new student or certificated pilots. We have affiliated instructors for private pilot through ATP instruction. Our club charges a non-refundable $700 initiation fee ($400 for student pilots), $85/month ground fee and very reasonable hourly rates. We also have online scheduling.

For more information, contact membership chairman Brian Renfrow at the listed phone number, or by e-mail to brenfrow@roadrunner.com.
