Club Facilities

Why I'm interested in starting a club:
I own my own airplane at this time and the cost is exceeding my budget. I recently retired but don't want to give up flying because of cost. I'd like to start with 2 light sport aircraft, one a tricycle and the other a tail wheel. Light sport I believe would be a less expensive way to go and hopefully bring in some new pilots.

    Description of the hangar/clubhouse facilities:
At this time there is none. I'm trying to talk the airport into building some T-hangers. One of the FBO's has a clubhouse we could use. All we would have now is tie-downs owned by the airport.

Progress made towards starting the club:
I have found a CFI that will work for flight hours, and talked to others who would like to join when and if we can get started. I'm checking on insurance costs, airplane cost, maintenance cost, and etc.
