8th Annual Aviation Appreciation Day Fly-in, Car Cruise and Craft Show
Come join Air heritage Inc's at our annual Aviation Day at our museum and restoration facility at the Beaver County Airport. It will be a great day for the entire family to come on out an enjoy as there will be a little bit of everything for everyone.
Aircraft can arrive and depart any time and the event opens up to the public starting at 9AM.
Breakfast will be available during the morning followed by a Lunch menu starting around 11:30AM.
On display will be our entire collection of rare and/or historic aircraft including the World's only flying Fairchild C-123K Provider, a WWII Veteran Douglas C-47 along with our Piper L-21 (all of which are in a flyable state) as well as our aircraft currently being restored to flight.
Also on display with be many privately owned aircraft that are based on field or around the area that will fly into the event. Many of these aircraft are of military heritage as well.
One such aircraft that will be of great interest is a full scale Spitfire replica currently being built at Air Heritage's Hangar by one of its members. This is something you do not want to miss!
For those Car fans out there, a Car show will be taking place throughout the day as well. Last year we had approximately 500 various cars come through our gates over the coarse of the day with over 100 cars on display at any time.
New to this year's event for the Mrs. who is not that very interested in airplanes or cars, is a craft show that will be taking place outside next to the hangar.
So come on out and support the cause of preserving our Aviation Past!
