The existing State Aeronautics Act provides for the establishment of airport land use commissions (ALUCs) in counties in which a public-use airport is located. It does not, however, include school districts as local agencies and does not require a local agency to notify the ALUC or the California Department of Transportation of a proposed override of an ALUC determination.
