Have you ever had an ongoing debate at your local airport and needed an outside perspective? Want someone to ask about the best $100 hamburger stops? Looking to learn new flying techniques, get aircraft ownership tips, or find maintenance advice? Visit AOPA's newly revamped Aviation Forums to talk to AOPA members across the country about topics ranging from medical certification to instrument flying. It's a great opportunity to share your wisdom and learn from others.
"Glad that these boards are back, especially since I'm actually getting closer to being ready to budget flying lessons; will have lots of questions to ask!" wrote one member.
Registration is free but only available to AOPA members [ click here to join] and lets you post and edit your own messages, respond to others' messages, send private messages, create a buddy list, and more. You also can post one-time or recurring aviation events (or even birthdays) in the forum calendar.
Said another member, "Well, there goes my productivity at work...again! Ya baby!"

A father and his 14-year-old son were helping another pilot ferry a newly purchased aircraft from California to their home field in Virginia. The three made an overnight stop in Albuquerque before flying on to Illinois for fuel. But shortly after they parked the aircraft in Marion, Ill., they were approached by as many as 18 uniformed and non-uniformed law enforcement officers who came running toward the airplane.
