AOPA President Phil Boyer presented an Angel Flight Founders Award to Harry Morales, who started Angel Flight East in 1992, with the motto "healing should be about getting better, not getting there."
Boyer made the presentation Saturday at a special luncheon for Angel Flight East during the 16th Annual Vintage Aircraft Day & Classic Car Show at Wings Field, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show promotes the airport and general aviation to the community. Wings Field is also the birthplace of AOPA, and the association returns there every year for its annual meeting.
