Need a break from the office? It's not too late to head to the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, Florida. And to help you justify the time off, AOPA will be on hand to help you take care of some business - general aviation business that is.
Financial services. AOPA resources. GA advocacy information. Aircraft insurance. Membership renewal. You name it, AOPA can do it all for you in its Big Yellow Tent, standing prominently at Sun 'n Fun.
Of course the main reason for the getaway is fun. And AOPA is ready to help out in that department, too. AOPA's Win a Six in '06 Sweepstakes airplane, a 1967 Cherokee Six, is on display all week right in front of the tent - so that you can get a good look at your new aircraft.
But that's not all. The fun really kicks off Thursday night with AOPA President Phil Boyer during a Pilot Town Meeting, and it continues through Friday during AOPA Day. You'll be able to win dozens of prizes - from an AOPA watch to a Garmin 396 GPS handheld - just for wearing a special AOPA sticker. AOPA members will get a $5 discount off a single-day admission on Friday when they show their AOPA member card (may not be combined with any other offer).
If you can't make it to Florida, just check AOPA Online when you need a breather. AOPA staff will be providing the latest news from aircraft manufacturers, avionics producers, and other pilot products at the show.
