Are you looking at the light sport aircraft market and thinking it may be for you? Are you worried about how to get insurance on this new class of aircraft?
The AOPA Insurance Agency can help. All this week at Oshkosh, staff from the agency are at the show to let the world know they write insurance for light sport aircraft. The best part is that in addition to being able to get insurance on these new aircraft, you also get the AOPA Insurance Agency’s years of experience and focus on the customer, and the knowledge that you are supporting AOPA.
The agency offers competitive rates, working with A-rated underwriters to get you the coverage you need. Stop by the Big Yellow Tent at Oshkosh to learn more, or visit their Web site today.
As the cold weather chills AOPA’s Headquarters in Frederick, many of us are inside generating new resources for flying clubs.
In my house, every Friday night is “Movie Night.” While the movies are rarely educational (I don’t think I learned anything from the Lego Movie), we look forward to the weekly opportunity to spend time together. Why not use the same concept for your Flying Club (with the addition of education, of course)?
AOPA Flying Club Manager Kelby Ferwerda posted the following on the AOPA Flying Club Facebook Page: “Recently I’ve talked with quite a few Flying Clubs about maintaining social activity through the cold winter months. Some clubs host Holliday Parties, others have Potluck Movie Nights. What does your club do to keep members involved during the chilly months?”
