Eclipse brokering 28 DayJet aircraft

Eclipse brokering 28 DayJet aircraftEclipse Aviation is the broker for 28 Eclipse 500 jets that DayJet, a Florida air taxi company, once used for service in Florida and throughout the South. The aircraft are in different stages of operational capability and all have between 150 and 450 cycles on them. They are to be sold as is, and that means you must take the DayJet paint scheme and interior.

DayJet collapsed in September after failure to find the next round of $40 million in funds needed to expand. Meeting early targets for customers and revenue had proven DayJet’s business plan. Tickets for an average flight were running at $700 to $900. DayJet had 1,400 aircraft either on order or under option. Removal of those still left Eclipse with an order book of more than 900 aircraft.

Buyers of new Eclipse aircraft will not be able to transfer their deposit from a new aircraft to one of the DayJet used aircraft, an Eclipse official said.
