Don’t miss out on the greatest aviation celebration of the year— AOPA Aviation Summit in Long Beach, Calif. Registration is open, offering up to 25-percent savings to those who register early. Enjoy educational forums, captivating speakers, the hottest aircraft on the market, and special events at Summit this year.
A notable highlight for this year’s Summit is a celebration of aviation brought to you by the AOPA Foundation.
This special event will take place on the RMS Queen Mary and is dedicated to safeguarding the future of general aviation. Join AOPA and aviation notables for an evening of entertainment and fine dining.
"The AOPA Foundation has created a new event that allows members to give a tax deductible donation to something we all feel passionate about--keeping pilots safe and safeguarding the future of GA,” said AOPA President Craig Fuller. “We cannot assume our freedom to fly; each person has to preserve and protect it."
Ticket price includes a donation to the AOPA Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable giving arm of AOPA, dedicated to funding air safety education, preserving airports, growing the pilot population, and improving the image of GA.
AOPA Aviation Summit will take place Nov. 11 through 13.
A touch of history, affordable flying, unique sightseeing, a good meal, and a community of pilots: Isn’t that what general aviation is all about?
Getting the job done on the local and national levels requires long-term planning, a hands-on approach, and keeping the effort moving, said Sean Collins, AOPA’s Eastern regional manager.
Deep in the dense, moss-draped, oak forest of Amelia Island is a luxurious plantation resort. Check out this Florida destination while you are in the Southeast for AOPA's St. Simons, Georgia, Fly-In on Nov. 8.
