SimCom Training Centers announced it has added simulator training for the Twin Commander series of twin turboprops at its Dallas/Fort Worth training facility—formerly known as PrestoSIM. Pilot initial and recurrent training courses are available and approved by all major aircraft insurance providers, SimCom said.
The Twin Commander simulators are equipped with the latest generation of SimCom’s 180-degree, wrap-around visual display system. This allows trainees to experience outside visual cues that realistically re-create day, night, and twilight conditions—as well as multiple VMC and IMC weather situations.
SimCom’s Twin Commander training joins curricula offered by the company for the Pilatus PC-12, Socata’s TBM 700 and 850, Mitsubishi’s MU-2, Piper’s Cheyenne, Malibu/Mirage/Matrix/Meridian and other models, plus the Eclipse EA-500, CitationJets, King Airs, and many other aircraft types.
