Sporty’s Pilot Shop has developed a new app for AOPA Aviation Summit, to be held in Hartford, Conn., Sept. 22 through 24.
Available for the first time ever, the app contains all the information you need to have a meaningful Summit experience. You can register and learn the best way to arrive, whether by car or airplane. The app also will provide the latest news and announcements.
The official AOPA Summit app is available at no charge and includes everything attendees need, from maps and guides to schedules.
With the AOPA Summit app, you can access the day’s events right from your phone, including a full list of exhibitors; exhibit hall floor plan; and the schedule of seminars, speakers, programs, demonstrations, evening events, and Airportfest at Hartford-Brainard Airport.
Sporty's free AOPA Summit app is available for Android users, including tablets, and all Apple devices, including iPad, iPad 2, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
Do your homework before you head to AOPA’s Homecoming Fly-In Oct. 4 in Frederick, Maryland, to ensure you’re safe and legal.
Pilot Barrington Irving used an event at Ronald Reagan National Airport Sept. 23 to launch his Flying Classroom project, created to offer interactive science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education to children around the world.
What a pilot gleans from a PAPI’s white and red lights depends on other design features of the approach, reviewed and noted during preflight planning.
