Redbird flight simulators are migrating south to Brazil after Instituto Arruda Botelho purchased multiple cross-wing, full-motion, and table-mounted simulators during Sun ‘n Fun.
According to a press release, the company bought simulators for the Cessna Caravan, King Air 90C, and Piper Matrix in addition to the other devices. All of the simulators are equipped with Parrot to help students learn proper radio communication skills.
“This is a very important addition to our facility in Itirapina,” said Fernando de Arruda Botelho, head of Instituto Arruda Botelho, in a press release. “We really like the idea that the Redbird simulators are geared beyond merely meeting the minimum FTD requirements, and help teach how to actually fly the airplane, under VFR as well as IFR conditions.
Redbird said it welcomes the opportunity to expand its reach to Brazil to help train students.
