Sporty’s has released a new free app for the 2012 International Women in Aviation Conference, to be held March 8 through 10 in Dallas.
The WAI 2012 app continues Sporty’s successful run with tools designed specifically for aviation shows. In 2011 Sporty’s released similar apps for Sun ’n Fun, EAA AirVenture, and AOPA Aviation Summit.
The app assists conference attendees from show start to close, providing registration, airline, and rental car information, as well as a detailed schedule of events and a map of the exhibit hall and venue at the Hilton Anatole. Click on an exhibitor and you will see where it is located on a floor plan. The app will update automatically as the show progresses and will provide access to Women in Aviation International’s Twitter account and a daily blog feed.
The app is designed for Apple devices and may be downloaded online.
