Look for exciting new changes at AOPA.org in the coming weeks. We will be launching a redesigned website, making it easier for you to use our flight planning tools, find topic-specific subject reports and forms, complete online safety training, manage your membership, and get the latest news and updates on the industry and AOPA’s initiatives from protecting your freedom to fly to growing the pilot population.
The website will feature a mobile-friendly design, more powerful search engine, and new, easier-to-use navigation to allow you to find the information you are seeking quickly from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The new platform powering the redesigned website will take advantage of current and future technologies, allowing AOPA to offer continued enhancements and functionality to the site.
When the website launches, please let us know your thoughts. AOPA’s Member Services and Pilot Information Center specialists are already testing the website and are ready to answer any questions you may have. They are standing by Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern to help you one-on-one by phone (800/USA-AOPA).
Pilot Safety and Skills,
Youths ages 13 through 18 who are members of the AOPA AV8RS program can now apply for scholarships to help them achieve their aviation dreams.
Your mission: Fly with eight F-15s to the Philippines, rejoin, refuel with air tankers, engage an unknown number of Red Air fighters, refuel again, and then return home to Okinawa. And fly with radio silence up to the first contact with the Red Air fighters.
SocialFlight users can now publish events via Facebook and Twitter.
AOPA thanks our members for their continued support in protecting the freedom to fly.
