Bendix/King's myWingMan adds AHRS

Bendix/King has released its version 1.1 update for its myWingMan iPad app. The update is available for download at the Apple App Store, and a free 60-day trial is also available.

Bendix-King says the flight planning app, introduced in 2012, now supports attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) sensors, has improved user interface, and offers greater flight planning flexibility, making its use simpler and more intuitive. Improvements include support for external AHRS sensors, multiple programmable aircraft profiles during flight planning, enhanced planning support such as standard instrument departure and standard terminal arrival procedures, airways, and a moving navigation log.

Those updates combined with the app’s “touch and go simplicity” of features including synthetic vision, flight plan filing, smart routing, and split-screen options to give the pilot the latest in a flight planning product, Bendix/King said.
