Young pilots looking for a career in aviation are invited to a free career conference on March 23 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
The session, which was organized by FAPA.aero and sponsored by US Aviation Academy, is at Higher Power Aviation. All current and future pilots are welcome, once they complete a free registration at FAPA.aero.
Multiple educational sessions are expected, including a focus on loans, future hiring prospects, and more. Flight schools also will be on hand for students to ask questions and talk to admissions representatives.
American Eagle Airlines is giving away two free round-trip tickets to an attendee, as a way to encourage them to a visit a flight school of their choosing.
Flight Training Editor Ian J. Twombly joined AOPA in 2003 and is an instrument flight instructor.
Steven Moore, executive director of the National Gay Pilots Association, died Oct. 27 when his Mooney crashed after takeoff at Boulder Municipal Airport in Denver.
Premier aerobatic pilot and GA supporter Sean D. Tucker will be honored at the Spreading Wings Gala at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum in Denver Nov. 15.
A touch of history, affordable flying, unique sightseeing, a good meal, and a community of pilots: Isn’t that what general aviation is all about?
