Aviation Supplies and Academics Inc. (ASA) is offering the 2014 FAR/AIM as a free e-book download for the iPhone and iPad from Oct. 10 to 12 to coincide with AOPA Aviation Summit, the company announced Oct. 10.
Users will be able to download the e-book using the free ASA Reader app, a dedicated e-book reader application for aviation publications through ASA. While the app is free, downloads of the 2014 FAR/AIM will only be free for the three days of AOPA Aviation Summit, held in Fort Worth, Texas.
Readers can access more than 80 e-book titles through the ASA Reader, some of which are always available as free downloads, ASA said in a news release.
Users need not be at Summit to take advantage of the special offer. Those who are at the show can find ASA at Booth 1417 in the exhibit hall at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
