AOPA Southern Regional Manager Bob Minter will be at the upcoming Southeast Aviation Expo in Greenville, S.C., and is encouraging members in the region to join him. Members can get free admission vouchers for the event, Sept. 27 and 28, at the Greenville Downtown Airport.
Sessions at the event include tax planning for aircraft owners, sparkplug maintenance and troubleshooting, Cirrus pilot education, lessons learned from a Blue Angels pilot, and all you need to know about ADS-B.
Minter will have an AOPA exhibit at the event, which will also feature a keynote address by Ed Bolen, president and CEO of the National Business Aviation Association. The Greenville Jet Center will provide free tiedowns and fuel discounts for fly-in attendees.
AOPA eNewsletter and Social Media Editor Benét J. Wilson joined AOPA in 2011. She is working on her private pilot certificate.
