Attendees can meet with flight instructor and author Rod Machado or join AOPA President Mark Baker for a pancake breakfast as part of AOPA’s expanded offerings at the 2014 Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-in and Expo.
In a recent addition to the AOPA schedule, Machado, who has brought humor to the learning process for many a pilot, will be available for meet and greets at 11 a.m. each day Thursday, April 3, through Saturday, April 5, at the main AOPA tent.
On April 2, attendees can join AOPA President Mark Baker for a free pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. RSVPs are requested by email with the subject line "SNF Breakfast." Please indicate how many guests will be attending with you. On April 3, learn how to start a flying club, as well as how to keep current clubs strong, during a breakfast with Baker at 8 a.m. at the AOPA activities tent. A limited number of thumb drives of AOPA's new Guide to Starting a Flying Club will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Register for the flying club breakfast.
The AOPA campus at Sun ‘n Fun is in a new location this year and includes a new Activity Tent that will host breakfasts, luncheons, celebrity meet-and-greets, and seminars. A detailed schedule of events is available online, or stop by the main AOPA tent to find out more.
