The seventh annual Plane & Pilot Midwest LSA Expo will take place Sept. 10 through 12 at Mount Vernon Airport in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
This year’s event promises more than 40 light sport aircraft on display, including ultralights and gyroplanes. Exhibitors include Aeroprakt USA, American Legend, Bristell, Bushcat, Flight Design, Dynon, Jabiru USA, Just Aircraft, Pipistrel, Rans Aircraft, Remos, Tecnam, Van's Aircraft, Zenith Aircraft, and more.
Educational seminars and an exhibit hall will be featured. On Sept. 10, the St. Louis Women with Wings chapter of Women in Aviation will have an airplane wash.
Admission and parking are free. Complimentary shuttle buses are available to take fly-in attendees to nearby motels. Free camping is available at the airport, including a lakeshore shelter area with bathroom and shower facilities.
