Pilot Briefing: Fly-Ins

Four for you

2016 fly-in locations are worth the flight

Registration is now open for the 2016 AOPA Fly-Ins. There are four very different and distinct locations for the fly-ins this year, which will take you coast to coast, and north and south. Here’s a preview of the four sites:

March Briefing

Prescott, Arizona. At 5,200 feet above sea level, enjoy the outdoor attractions September 30 and October 1 in a city surrounded by a Ponderosa pine forest. Enjoy the world’s oldest rodeo while you’re here.

March Briefing

Bremerton, Washington. Visit this picturesque Pacific Northwest town, set across Puget Sound from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, August 19 and 20. Enjoy the scenery of the Olympic Mountains.

March Briefing

Beaufort, North Carolina. Explore the “Coolest Coastal Town in the United States” (Budget Travel magazine) May 20 and 21. Edward Teach (Blackbeard) and his pirates discovered it first.

March Briefing

Battle Creek, Michigan. Take in the sugary sweet smells of the Kellogg manufacturing facilities September 16 and 17. Don’t miss the rare aircraft museum/amusement park called the AirZoo.

AOPA Fly-Ins offer a Barnstormers Party, pancake breakfasts, seminars presented by aviation experts, and much more.
