When Al Waterloo bought a 2004 Cirrus SR20, his goal was to operate a flight school on the South Side of Chicago at Lansing Airport (IGQ). The airplane wasn’t flying enough so he decided to form a flying club and looked to the Cirrus Jump Start program as a model. The club is still in formation, but it has about a half dozen members and mixes primary training and cross-country flying.
