As November approaches, the final preparations are being made for AOPA’s annual gathering, which is now AOPA Aviation Summit. All of the exhibits that have always made our Expo enjoyable will be there, along with the forums.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I found myself in the left seat of a Cessna Caravan, climbing toward 14,000 feet out of Rifle, Colorado. We were headed east and all the indications on the Garmin G1000 were comfortably in the green.
