Aviation Technical Specialist are responsible for supporting AOPA and AOPA Member with aviation technical research and one-on-one assistance to members in all areas of general aviation.
Required qualifications include Commercial Pilot certificate with two years of industry experience, the ability to complete extensive technical knowledge training, customer service experience, exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to be a collaborative team player.
Preferred qualifications include an undergraduate degree, Flight Instructor certificate or Airframe and Powerplant certificate. In addition, competitive candidates should be familiar with AOPA digital products, internet research techniques, and extensive utilization of MS office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
