I have used Cornell quite a few times to visit my daughter near Stanley. The runway is not bad in my opinion. I have put my Bonanza down on a lot worse. There is a windsock and I always leave $5 if I stay. The owner (when there) is a good guy to talk to.

I have stopped at Cornell a number of times in the past. The runway is rough, no windsock, not even a portable toilet and rarely anyone around. The last time I stopped, there was someone around. He charged me a $5.00 ramp fee ! I'll never go back.
