Flew in with my instructor getting ready for my checkride. what a great strip. Grew up 4 miles from here and what a treat to actually fly in vs riding my bike as a kid. friendly fbo and very nice pilot shop for a small field. GREAT short field practice for the checkride. dont just fly over 2W2, land you wont be dissapointed. Brian

"To get one, you have to FLY IN." Thus, the challenge! Try flying into Clearview, a 1800' by 30' airstrip near Westminster, Md. It is a tiny field with large, 50' trees all around it, a steep incline on the approach end of 32, and a steady crosswind to add to the fun! If you do, you will have the right to a coveted "2W2 Mug" (see photo) for your efforts! The pilot shop on the field is great, as are the fuel prices and friendly service! Worth a journey!
