01392321 5/3/13 I landed in LeRoy airport to attend a meeting in a nearby town.I contacted Ray Detor (the owner) for information. Ray was welcoming and provided me with information that made the trip a success.The airport has a pilot lounge,self service avgas,and security fence around the perimeter.It was a pleasure landing there. Ray, thank you very much.I would highly recommend LeRoy airport as a stop over, try it you will not be disappointed.

My experience echoes those of the previous posts. Ray Detor could not have been more accommodating. Same thing can be said for the local pilots who happened to be on the field.

Visited Le Roy July 2 and hangared through July 5. Facilities are very good and the hospitality of the owner (Ray Detor) and several tenants was outstanding. What I remember about airports from many years ago. I'll make this my ROC reliever airport in the future. Self service avgas at reasonable price. and secure field with complete security fence. Excellent runway and approaches.

I landed in LeRoy today to get to a meeting in a nearby town. The runway has been extended to 3800ft, although, directories still list it at 2600+. The owner, Ray, met me on my return to the field and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend stopping by and helping Ray pay the bills. He owns the field, but opens it to public use. I will be back at least a few times per year. These are the kind of good guys we need to support.
