I flew in on Memorial Day and it was a nice airport. There was only 3 planes taking off and landing and it was not busy. I did a full stop landing and departed to Banning airport so I did not have time to enjoy the airport. Great airport to fly to and a little windy, but down the middle of Runway 18. I announced my intentions over Lake Elsinore at 3500', flew over the airport at 3000' and entered on the 45 for left traffic Rwy 18.

Passed my checkride on 15 Nov, flew up here from CRQ with my wife on 18 Nov. We enjoyed the restaurant (it was perfect on the deck outside), followed by 30 minutes on the tarmac watching the aircraft in the patter while listening in on the handheld comm. A delightful place for an outdoor lunch. This was her first GA flight - she had rum with her burger, I had diet coke with mine.

9/1/10 - Restaurant was fine, though soon to be behind some TSA security-theater construction project. It's worth the taxi to the south end for fuel. This fuel outlet is not listed in 100ll.com or in AOPA database. Price was $4.54 self-serve.

It is often very busy on weekends. Bizjets mix in with smaller planes, so caution is advised.
