Nice airport: runway and apron sealed and striped Fall of '10, so it is in perfect condition. FANTASTIC local pilots: meet at field about 0830 Sat and depart for local b-fast. If you can't get there that early, they'll be hanger flying all morning and likely offer you a ride to town (15 min walk otherwise). Picnic tables and playground for kids overlooking runway. I wish this was my town airport!!! No services. RWY 35 has good upslope; don't get low on approach like I did...

Picked this airport for a fly-in camping trip, what a great choice it turned out to be! We were greeted by the airport manager and local pilots, their courtesy and hospitality were second to none. Great place for a weekend getaway. You will find an airport that reminds you of the good ole days; tail draggers, hangar talk, and folks who are always glad you came. Will definately return.
