CRNJ: First time to Pittsburgh to compete in the marathon weekend in my newly completed Glastar TD on 2013-05-04. Tied it down in front of the terminal building for the weekend. Had arranged for a Hertz car with Corporate Air. The vehicle was waiting, and the ground crew assisted me with the luggage. Athough I was not leaving it on their ramp, the employees were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate me in a very kind courteous way. I would recommend Corporate Air to anyone arriving at KGCA in the future t

Fly in regularly with a 340. The landing fee is nominal for the service. Always good service getting a rental car and fueling in a timely manner. Had to stay at the hotel accross the street due to weather and the line crew actually gave a ride over (its a busy highway to try to cross with bags) and picked me up early the next am for an early departure. Controllers are great and the instrument approaches get you down easily.

Landed and parked our airplane (C-172) 8/10/12 thru 8/10/12 at Corporate Air. Set up a rental with Hertz through Corporate Air about a week prior to arrival as well as parking/servicing request (18 gal). Brought rental car to the plane to load luggage instead of doing the bag drag. Very friendly and responsive. The weather for our departure was questionable and they were flexible. The flight planning area is modest but has every thing needed to plan. Made the go/no go decision and our plane was pulled around from the tie down within about 20 minutes during a period of other arrivals and departures. The rental car return went smoothly. Good experience and hope you have the same if you use their facility.

Be prepared when flying into AGC... it can be a VERY busy airport. The flight school regularly has 6-7 planes out at once, there's a number of corporate jets based here, plus a lot of transient traffic. It's well run, but be ready for anything and you should be talking to Pitt Approuch the whole way, even if you're coming in VFR. I never saw the landing fees that MASTERCFI referred to... maybe the bill just hasn't come in yet. Only 1 landing for me, so I'd be okay with that. Was very impressed by Corporate Air... good service and friendly, even for flying a little Skyhawk with rather full tanks. Topped off and tied down for the night and they were very helpful. Also, if renting a car, know that the rental desk is run by the FBO and is opened more than what the Hertz website will tell you. I had no problem returning a car on Sunday, even though the posted hours said they'd be closed. Great service!

BE AWARE! The landing fees mentioned above are NOT negotiable, since they are not managed by the FBO. The county will send you a bill for roughly $10 PER landing that you make there! I was based out of there for 7 days, doing aerial mapping, and was sent a bill about 4 months later from the county for EACH landing I made there. based on this "hidden" fee, I will no longer use airports in this county when working in that area. The FBO was awesome, however.

Corporate air is the best FBO on the field. They can get you almost anything you may need. There is a flight school adjcent, they have a very small pilot shop, mostly sectional, and high/low enroute charts.
