Great service at Landmark Aviation. I called in advance and had the same experience as the other posts. Stayed over one night, rental car was brought to the plane for unloading, and same for loading back up on departure. Departure folks sounded pretty reasonable about vectoring folks around the Biltmore for a aerial view. I'll visit again.

Visited Asheville during the Memorial day long weekend. We stayed for one night. Landmark provided awesome services. They waived landing fee & tiedown fee with a purchase of 11 gallons of fuel. Fuel prices are bit high though. We called them ahead to make rental car reservations with Hertz. They brought the car to the airplane to unload luggage. Nice folks at the FBO. I am a VFR pilot, but the control tower & approach were amazing. I was coming from the south, the tower cleared me for a straight-in for 34. No time wasted. Winds were 35010G17, not much problem there. I highly recommend a trip to Asheville for VFR only pilots also. If you are on FF, you'll handed off to AVL approach. Don't worry too much about the terrain. Make a note of the towers, you'll be fine.

We landed at KAVL on 6/04/11 and got great service at Landmark. I had called the day before to get a rental car and when we landed they brought it out to the plane as soon as we shut down. We then drove to the Biltmore Estate for the day and when we got back the plane was fueled and tied down facing away from the sun. They even gave us some great tips on where to get a good meal at the desk. I would gladly go back and leave my plane with them again.

04/15/11 Stayed for the weekend. Rebecca and the rest of the staff at Landmark were outstanding. The rental car was ready and they drove it out to the plane to help us unload. They hangared my plane to protect it from the approaching thunderstorm. Couldn't have asked for better service. Let them know you're coming and they will take care of you.

I'd echo all the positive comments about Landmark. Great staff and facility. Call ahead if you need a tie-down. There are only a few available. The linemen shuttled me out to my plane for pre-flight, back to the FBO to meet my passenger, and back out to the plane again. Unbelievable service for 4 nights (no parking charge) on their ramp and 30-odd gallons of 100LL.

Landmark New FBO (just over 1 old) is top notch - pristine facilities from the ramp to the hanger to the lounge/office area. Paul & his team made me feel welcome in my Cherokee6. They met me on the ramp with the rental car & helped me move baggage - outstanding service above & beyond the call. The ramp team takes pride and care in every aircraft movement - either via tug or marshalling. Fuel prices, while not great, were within reason - expecially with access to the self-serve pump. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!
