BGM is one of my favorite airports. It's staffed by some of the friendliest people I've ever talked to. The airport itself is in pretty good shape. I got fuel from Atlantic Aviation. Nice FBO with good fuel prices.

Had to make a landing at BGM because of a mechanical problem. Was sent to Goodrich Aviation for repairs. The mechanic was waiting for me and fixed the problem (a broken door handle pin) within 15 minutes. He was just great. Thank you for your fine service. I was in the air again within 45 miniutes.

North Country Aviation Services is the another A/P maintenance shop on the field. It is located in the same hanger as the maintenance shop listed above. The hanger is owned by Atlantic Aviation, both firms rent space from Atlantic. They can be reached at 607-481-0995 or on the net at www.northcountryavserv.com Call William Kethcham at North Country Aviation Services - 607-481-0995 or bill@northcountryavserv.com . He is former Navy A/P with extensive experience working on engines and airframes. Bill's rate is much more affordable than many shops. He runs about 2/3 the hourly rate of other facilities, and does his own 'AD research' on his time. Bill won't feather bed your bill with extraneous charges and will work with you to find affordable solutions to keep you flying. He completes work started and doesn't just stop and leave you hanging with removed parts. Bill is a competent professional. Bill will treat your plane like its his. He won't just push it out on the ramp and leave it partially repaired when figuring what to do. North Coutry works to help you get flying again fast and affordably.
