Linemen at Columbia are terrific. Plane was chocked and tied down before I could step out. When it was time to leave they came over to the plane to help and ask if there was anything we needed. Courteous and helpful. Busy airport, but I suspect that once the summer season is over it quiets down. We plan on returning for an off season visit.

Columbia Air lineman Greg greeted our Skyhawk 329ME on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, and loaded our bags into a waiting Hertz car. Customer service rep Felicia gave us her patented lobster restaurant printout--along with advice and directions! The plane was fueled and ready for takeoff after a great vacation, with help from Cheerful Cindy at the FBO desk.

Visited BHB 3/17/12 for an overnight trip. The people at Columbia were extremely courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. Put my Cirrus in a hangar for the night and charged me the $4 tie down fee. Plane was fueled and ready to go when we arrived the next day. I used Columbia to do an oil change in the fall and they did it on short notice without complaint. Got a rental car from the terminal with no problem. All in all, very good experience.

Not the friendliest counter staff in the world at Columbia but nice pilot lounge and the guys helping with parking tie-down are great. Major disconnect between FBO and rental car area. Both Hertz and Enterprise staff could use corporate re-training. Overall nice airport, busy with some large commercial jets coming in routinely with no tower to control traffic. Keep your eyes open and ears on.

spent the forth of july in bar harbor. fbo very helpful took care of our bags over to rental car company. plane was fueled as requested they were very helpful even though they were very busy.
