Had to stop for weather ahead on our way home. Professional controllers. Landmark very helpful got us a room and had a car for rent at a competitive rate on a Friday afternoon. Gave us our shell discount and aopa discount on fuel. Helpful with a couple of good restaurants will stop again enroute.

Recently visited Landmark Aviation and parked a 310 overnight for 2 nights. Their pricing was very competitive waiving one night parking and facility fee for 12gal minimum purchase. I also found out they just switched to SHELL Av Gas which will give you more discounts per gallon IF you have a Shell Fuel card. Great staff and a very comfortable and professional facility with great amenities. The CHS airport also has an Air Force Base located on the West side which gives you great views of some of our incredible military aircraft flying in and out.

Flew in my Cherokee for 2 nights. Great staff, great facility. Rental car was at FBO for us. Waived fee with fuel ($6.81) (invoice says facility fee waived for purchase of 7 gallons or over). FBO is about 20 minutes outside of the city so it was about the same to rent a car as it was to take a cab round trip. Controllers were helpful and nice. Charlotte is a wonderful place to visit for a couple of nights. Took the 1 hr carriage tour of downtown. quite enjoyable. As was the Ft Sumter tour - about 1 1/1 hrs inc ferry ride to island.. East Bay Road has blocks of good restaurants reasonable priced.

Landmark Aviation provided excellent and reasonably priced service on our recent visit. The rental car was brought to the plane for easy baggage transfer. The CSR's both on arrival and departure were efficient and cordial. They waived the facility fee and one night tiedown for minimal fuel purchase for our Bonanza. I'll definitely be using CHS and Landmark for our return visits to the Charleston area.

Flew in to Atlantic FBO on Sunday 6/19/2011 as a Angel Flight to pick up a patient. Atlantic waived a $40.00 Facility Fee but still charged me a $10.00 Drop Off Fee. In the future I will use Landmark. At least Landmark waives all fees for Angel Flights and so have all other FBOs I have been to doing Angel Flights on the east coast. If I had not been Angel Flight I would have had to pay $50.00 for my 30 minute stay. And they wonder why General Aviation is down???? Someone in management at Atlantic needs to rethink their attitude in my opinion!!!

Visited Atlantic FBO on Sunday, 02/06/2011. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We picked up passengers after about a 30 minute stay. Did not charge or even ask for a ramp fee even though we could not purchase gas due to weight. Facilities are first class, very modern, clean, and comfortable.

Odyssey Aviation gets my business over Atlantic. i fly in a few times a year and the folks at Odyseey try harder with real interest in me as a pilot and not interest in my plane and how much they can sell me.
