Chandler Aviation is a super facility and the folks that work there are very courteous and helpful. Spent the night and found good motels and eating places. The Caverns are close and worth a visit.

First class FBO. The staff is responsive and capable. Excellent service. Excellent accomodations and dining in Carlsbad and the airport has a runway for nearly every wind direction. We were there several days and we will be back.

The Chandler Aviation personel were outstanding! Extremely helpful and courteous, they even helped tie down our aircraft upon arrival. Wholeheartedly recommend this FBO to all pilots traveling to the Carlsbad area.

EXCELENT SERVICE! Chandler Aviation has it together - excellent service and excellent facility. Call ahead if arriving after hours and they'll have rental car waiting for you. Easy directions and short drive to hotels and restaurants in Carlsbad. Rwy 14L/32R not only has new surface, it's closest to the ramp. Many other runways if you want to practice x-wind landings. Highly recommended for fuel stop, overnight or vacation to National Park.

GREAT STOP! 14L/32R GOOD SURFACE (recently resealed or repaved), however, recommend back taxi for t/o on 14L since para taxiway and apron are poor w/ fod. Cheap gas w/ quick service. FBO interior is POSH! It looks like a tasteful shrine to the Western cattleman - MANY couches and chairs upholstered in soft leather, 52" flat screen playing blu-ray, 2 new WX computers in flt planning room - very inviting. Quick plane side delivery of rental car. No restaurant on field. NO MECHANIC EMPLOYED BY FBO.
