Planning a business flight into DET and it appears Signature and any other FBO is non existant. Calls to the airport are routed to a voice mail that is full and no way to get in touch with a human. This is a real shame. Anyone know of the status of this place? Need to get fuel and a rental car for a day-trip.

Avflight is the new FBO. 100LL is approx $6.00/gal. The self serve is down for now.

Signature has left KDET. The new operator is called Barnstormers. Gas prices are reasonable, but as I understood it, a new operator is scheduled to take over the FBO operations so who knows where the prices will end up. Airport is getting really run down. Grass is growing up through cracks in the pavement - very difficult to see any markings that were painted on the asphalt. BE VERY CAREFUL with the north-east end of runway 7-25. There are virtually no markings indicating it is an active runway.

Signature was just taken over by Dave from KPTK. ALL prices have been reduced. You will not find a better place to refuel when in downtown Detroit. Its a great place to land to go watch a game/event.
