We received short notice of a death in the family in the Danville area. I called the FBO, spoke with Nathan to notify him that we would be arriving the next morning to attend the funeral and our time line would be very short. Also, to determine what ground transportation arrangements were available. Nathan volunteered the use of the crew car. The next morning Jason met us at the plane with the crew car already warmed up and we were on our way to the Funeral Home for the service. We topped off the crew car as well as the plane. Both my wife and I will always have a warm spot in our hearts for the staff at KDVK. They are special!

Outstanding airport. Beautiful terminal building. Friendly service. If you don't stop here you are missing out. Did I mention $4.95 avgas?

This was our first fuel/food stop on our way to AOPA Summit in Palm Springs from NJ. We were met at the ramp by a very friendly lineman who top off our 182. A crew car was on loan and the terminal was fairly new and well kept. The approach was straight forward with no obstacles and the runway was in good condition. We will be back.

My wife and I flew into Danville to see my parents, who live just a few miles away. What a great looking airport, and this is enhanced by the great amenities and the super friendly staff. There were no tie down fees and the prices on fuel were excellent! ($5.06 100LL) Mr. Bobby Payne took it upon himself to refuel the airplane the day before my departure in 102 degree temperatures without complaint. He even insisted instead of me having to start the plane and taxi it over to the self-serve pumps. I hope to fly into this airport many times in the future to visit my family and say hello to good ole Mr. Payne! Thanks again for an excellent experience.

I fly to Danville everytime I have the chance, just so I can have coffee with JW and fill up with fuel. It probably costs me more to fly there than I actually save due to their GREAT fuel prices, but it is worth it either way! Right up there with the Best FBO's in America. Thanks JW!

We stopped in Danville last week to visit my friends grandson there on the way back from Michigan and were caught by the weather. Had to spend 2 days waiting for the ceilings to go back up to clear the hills south of the area. The airport staff, JW and Nathan, went out of their way to help. Provided us a courtesy car to go to the motel and even pushed the plane back into the hangar till it warmed up and the weather cleared. Couldn't ask for a more hospitable place or nicer people. Good fuel prices and a very nice, new facility too. We will definately stop there again when flying back north next spring. N8466Q Cessna 185 Amphibian, Key Largo, FL

We flew there for business this past week and had a fantastic experience. JW was kind enough to put the Cirrus in the hangar while we were out even though all we asked for was a spot on the ramp to plug-in the block heater. The new FBO building is beautiful, and everyone we met was very kind. Definitely a good place to stop!!

The newly built FBO is very nice. They now have self service fuel. Good place to stop and get fuel. Be careful at night with the mountains that are located southwest of the field. If not familiar with the area, depart towards Danville (north of airport) and climb to 2500 before turning on course towards SW.
