Highly recommended destination! Leading Edge, the FBO, were excellent to work with. They arranged for us to pick up our rental car from the on-field Hertz after hours. When our arrival was delayed, they made sure that we could pick up the car after the FBO had closed for the evening. The airport is only 15 minutes from Lambertville and New Hope; both excellent weekend destinations.

Two good places to eat within walking distance: 1) Cross Keys Diner is best accessed by parking at the hangars at the SW corner of the airport. It's a very short walk (150 yards SW) to the diner on Swamp Road. The diner is in a large Dutch Colonial style house. Food and service are both very good, but it can get busy. There's an artisan bakery behind the diner with excellent scones and other baked goods. 2) The other restaurant is for lunch or dinner, the Water Wheel. It is about 1/2 mile NE of the airport. Best accessed by parking on the ramp at the FBO. The restaurant is located in a historic grist mill built in the 1700s. Extensive menu and lots of specials. FBO staff is always friendly. We walked to the restaurant. The owner learned we had walked from the airport and gave us a ride back to the airport after our excellent meal. Our waiter and the owner were very knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the old mechanicals from the mill are still visible in the basement, next to the bar.
