Dean and his wife were a great help to our Pilots N Paws mission that started at KFLV on Dec. 17th. Despite being closed for months under flood waters, Dean has the place up and running and welcoming to GA aircraft. This is worth a stop to support a "survivor" airport.

This is a great little underused airport! There isn't any issues getting on or off the base, and the civilian side (south side) of the airport has a courtesy car if you need one. Dean is very helpful if you need anything. This is a good stop over for jets if you want to stay out of the hussle and bussle of the larger airports. Jet-A prices are decent, 100LL is a bit high.
