came down for my first solo xc and just stopped for a few minuets... nice facility... nice people... pretty busy when I goat there

We flew in to KGFL on a great flying day for lunch at the café. An unexpected $15 ramp fee makes lunch expensive. I won't be back again!

Visited KGFL for breakfast today in my 152 as I often do and was shocked that besides being $.75 per gallon higher on fuel, they now charge a $15 ramp fee even if you visit the restaurant. This was always waived before to support the restaurant. They did lower it to $5 because I bought $7.01 per gallon fuel. So GA pilots be prepared to pay up. I wonder what places like this will do when no one can afford to fly there anymore?

I stopped to pick up someone and the staff at Rich aviation was very friendly and helpful. Nice runway, good little FBO with computers, etc... I came unannounced and just mentioned my call sign on the CTAF. After landing, as I was taxiing, a lineman was directing me to a parking spot: very useful! I would definitely go back there. Also fuel was cheap at the time (5/28/11)

Stopped for fuel 2 weeks ago,they have a self serve pump,not listed under airport information.The pump did look new.

Zipped down from Burlington for brunch - very friendly and nice little cafe
