Great experience! I flew there for the first time. The facilities at the FBO are neat. We made reservations with enterprise ahead of time by calling them, the was ready when we got there. We parked at the east end and line man was kind enough drive our rental car to the plane. The tie-down fee is $10 per night. We had a problem with the battery & the FBO personnel helped us jump start. Overall, great experience. If you are getting enterprise, call them ahead. Though they are closed on Sundays and open till 1PM saturdays, they'll leave the car at the FBO and you can drop the car at the FBO also. Of course, it is bit expense that way than the regular weekend rate. For us, for one day, it didn't matter. If you in experienced like me, watch out for rwy 28 upslope. It can make your landing tricky during flare!

Getting a rental car from Enterpise is almost impossible. They don't follow their own hours, close at 1:00 pm on Saturday and aren't open on Sundays. They are by no means user friendly!

went to Piegon Forge for spring break on 4-05-12. called enterprise to line up a car and was told my rates would triple from the weekend special due to the fact that i would need the car at the airport. i called Rent a Ride 865-774-7171. i was able to speak with Steve and he had me a car lined up for $35 a day + tax. car was at airport when i arrived and was picked up without any extra charges. I'm done with Enterprise no service promises! airport was a very nice facility. There is and overnight tie down $5 if you buy fuel. watch fuelers i asked for 10 gallons a side and ended up with 20 in one side. Overall experience was good with airport, just good ole country folks running it. I will certainly look to stay away from Enterprise on any future trips to any location!

Flew my family in here this past weekend for a vacation. RW 28 has a really cool approach in that the ground has been carved away to allow the aircraft to descend. Really cool! They also have a brand new FBO and parking area at the west end. Very nice, however I wasn't all that impressed with the service, kind of rude actually. They also charge tie dow fees even if you buy fuel, which isn't cheap either.

Nice airport to fly into. Friendly and helpful staff at the FBO, but be careful with traffic. Lots of helicopter traffic that believe they own the airport. As I was turning to base for landing, a helicopter called a 3 mile straight in final? After talking with the people in the FBO, they say it happens all the time, so please be aware.

We tried to book a car on-line and finally gave up. I then called the 800 Enterprise number and held 8 minutes and gave up. I went to this AOPA site and saw that others had had the same problem I finally found the local Enterprise number and called it. The fellow on the phone could not have been any better. He was very helpful, considerate and cordial. The phone (local) number is 865-908-3044.

Great airport. I came with my small children in middle of the winter to go skiing. The lineman had the warmed up rental car waiting at the ramp before we even shut down the engine. They hangered our SR22 and the night before departure plugged in the engine heater. Excellent service, thanks!

Enterprise has a part time car rental office onsite but no cars. You have to call them in advance for a reservation and they will drop the car off for you, you can return at the field as well. Phone number 865-908-3044
