I wanted to leave a follow up post concerning my earlier comments about Greenville Jet Center. Angel Flight contacted Greenville Jet Center and spoke with Tracy, the manager. Tracy agreed to refund the other pilot the $75.00 fee and post a notice at the fuel desk notifiying all personell that all fees for Angel Flights are to be waived in the future. Kudos to Tracy!!

I flew into KGMU to pick up patients for an Angel Flight, meeting another pilot there. I had to puchase fuel so I didn't have any issues but the other pilot didn't need any fuel and he was charged a $75.00 ramp fee by Greenville Jet Center. We tried to get them to waive the fee but they refused. It a shame that this FBO can't waive the fee since it doesn't cost them anything and in light of the fact that as the Angel Flight pilots we are paying all expenses associated with the flight ourselves. Unless Greenville Jet Center changes it's policy I don't intend to return and have notified Angel Flight as well. Shame on you Greenville Jet Center!!!!
