We flew into Havasu with a dead altenator. John Gallup from Desert Skies met us. He helped us arrange to have the plane repaired at Arizona Aircraft Maintenance, that did a great job. John loaned us a car to get breakfast in town. He helped us get a rental car, and recommended hotels. We couldn't have asked for more! And what a coincidence, John used to own our plane! We highly reccomend Arizona Aircraft Maintenance and Desert Skies!

Prevailing runway is 32 even in calm winds. No straight in approaches. The ASOS will not tell you this and I had to ask twice when the voice over the CTAF referred me to the ASOS frequency when I called in asking for landing advisories.
